WOODBRIDGE — Bugs, baseball and government: just a few of the topics covered by Rep. Themis Klarides today during a visit to Beecher Road School. Klarides started the hour-long session by asking the children a few questions about local and state government, and many of the students talked about their local officials as well as Gov. M. Jodi Rell. From there, she read an entertaining story about bugs and helped teachers in an informal poll of favorite baseball teams. Yankees fans controlled the room.
