Rep. Selim Noujaim (R-74) honored Barbara Temporale, a fourth grader from St. Hedwig’s School, with a citation from the General Assembly for her work organizing the Touch a Truck or Car Food Drive at Stop and Shop on Reidville Drive in Waterbury. She said the donations will go to St Vincent DePaul and Ecumenical food bank to help those in need. The event, held on July 24, 2010 from 10am-1pm, was a smashing success and featured dozens of vehicles ranging from an ambulance and fire engine to a mobile video game truck.
