This past Saturday the East End Community Club concluded a very successful food drive to benefit the Interfaith Ministries in Waterbury.
Non perishable items were collected at the new United Sports Center at Hamilton Park and members of the East End Community Club gathered on Saturday to load the food into private automobiles to drive them to the ministries.
My sincere gratitude goes to Bill DeMaida, President Patricia Goodin, incoming president Terry Longo and the many volunteers who supported the mission of the club to help the needy and the vulnerable especially during this Christmas season.
