Rep. Ackert speaks at rally in support of adult education
Hartford- Today students, teachers and faculty gathered at the Connecticut State Capitol to show their support to continue funding the CT Association of Adult and Continuing Education (CAACE).
State Representative Tim Ackert (R-Coventry) addressed the crowd, stating he supported giving necessary funding to the CAACE. Ackert, who teachers continuing education for state electricians, explained thousands of Connecticut adults are in adult education as a way to help them get or maintain work.
