Representative Prasad Srinivasan (R- Glastonbury) attended the retirement party for Glastonbury Police Officer Alan E. Roy to thank him and his fellow officers for their service to the community.
“The police officers are the unsung heroes of the town and add incredible value to the life style in Glastonbury,” said Representative Srinivasan.
He addressed the issues of concern to the police department that were being discussed at the assembly. This ranged from 1) Consolidation of agencies, especially the police academy and the fire fighters and 2) The impact of legalizing marijuana.
