2011 Legislative Session Wrap-Up Forum to be Held in Southington

I’m writing to invite you to a June 30th forum at the Southington Public Library I’ve organized with state Sen. Joe Markley, who will join me in providing a wrap-up of the five month legislative session that ended June 8th. We’ll discuss the numerous—and onerous—tax increases approved by Gov. Dannel Malloy and his supporters in the state legislature. We’ll fill you in on a variety of other bills passed in the House and Senate—many of them controversial proposals that will affect all of us. We’ll set aside time to listen to your concerns, questions and ideas. The hour-long session begins at 7 p.m.
