HARTFORD — State Rep. Arthur J. O’Neill this year continued his exemplary record of service to constituents by registering a 100 percent House voting record during the 2011 legislative session.
O’Neill, a Republican representing Bridgewater, Roxbury, Southbury and Washington made 381 votes on the floor of the state’s House of Representatives. Just 25 of 151 House legislators notched that accomplishment.
This was another 100% voting record for Rep. O’Neill who has been perfect since 2006 with the exception of missing votes during a 2009 special session while Representative O’Neill was travelling on his honeymoon 2009.
“I’ve never lost sight of why I’m here—to be the voice of the people in the towns I represent,” said O’Neill. “That responsibility is something I take very seriously. Without thoughtful and aggressive representation, a community’s voice can be lost quickly inside the Capitol.”
Arthur O’Neill serves the 69th Assembly District (Bridgewater, Roxbury, Southbury and Washington) in the state House of Representatives.
