“It is a very special day for all of us here, both in our town as well as in our state.” Said Representative Srinivasan. “As you all know we are in special session today and I will be heading to the capitol from here and the emphasis will be on jobs. We will be focusing on the backbone of our state, small business, and hoping that we will be able to turn things around for better and brighter days for all of us.”
It is indeed a bright day in Glastonbury. A cleaner environment, a more cost efficient way of maintaining our town vehicles and most important of all relying more on our natural resources is what we are seeing here today.
”I want to compliment the Town Manager and his entire team and the Town Council for their vision in appropriately harnessing state grants as well as federal grants in making this happen for us today. ” said Representative Srinivasan.
I hope that this program will be successful and will be the model for similar programs both in our own state and around the nation.
