WATERBURY–State Rep. Rob Sampson was among Republican legislators who met with business executives Wednesday at the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce offices to discuss the state’s business climate and its effect on private sector job growth. Since his election to the state legislature, Sampson’s message about job growth has been simple: Legislators should reduce wasteful spending, then get government out of the way of business owners by reducing taxes and scaling back burdensome regulations.
