Rep. Terrie Wood Attends Legislative Breakfast at Norwalk Community College

State Representative Terrie Wood today attended the Annual Norwalk Community College Legislative Breakfast held in the West Campus Culinary Arts Dining Room of Norwalk Community College (NCC).

Rep. Wood joined her legislative colleagues andNorwalkCommunity Collegestaff and leaders to discuss educational issues facing the College and the state of Connecticut.

Norwalk Community College President David Levinson, and Moira Lyons, NCC Director of Community and Government Relations, shared with Legislators the need for more state funding to hire additional facility to meet the increasing student enrollment and improve the career development services.

NCC leadership also discussed with legislators certain key agenda items on the horizon for the College, such as building an enclosed bridge over Richards Avenue to safely connect East and West Campuses and expanding the college into Stamford, where more than half of the enrolled students reside.
