In these difficult economic times, the state grants awarded to arts organizations are hard to come by. However, Rep. Rebimbas was pleased to learn that the nonprofit organization, Shakesperience Productions, Inc., was awarded a General Operating Grant from the Department of Economic and Community Development. Rep. Rebimbas is delighted that a local arts organization is receiving funding as the arts are a very important part of our culture and is an arena that has overlooked potential for job opportunities.
