On Friday evening, Rep. Srinivasan participated in the Milan Association’s Republic Day celebration. Speaking on this occasion, Rep. Srinivasan spoke about the values that represent the common bond between the oldest democracy in the world and the largest democracy in the world.

He complimented the performers for keeping the rich Indian cultural heritage alive. Rep. Srinivasan then had the opportunity to introduce the distinguished guests of the evening and called on them for a few words. Guests of honor include U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Representative Joseph Courtney, State Representatives Bill Aman and Russ Morin and the Glastonbury Police Commissioner.
