Rep. Carter was on hand at the Connecticut Invention Convention in Hartford to learn about some of the creative ideas that our State’s youth have come up with this year. He was particularly impressed by the “Pencil Hero,” which is an invention that prevents pencils from rolling off of desks. Rep. Carter was very impressed by all of the students’ ingenuity and originality and congratulated them on their achievements. He is hopeful that these young inventors will be someday become our State’s future leaders.
