Rep. Giegler, joined by Rep. Carter and Senator Michael McLachlan, was pleased to host a successful Town Hall Meeting last night at Danbury City Hall. Rep. Giegler answered questions from the more than 35 attendees and was eager to hear from constituents about issues concerning them about the city and state. Some of the topics discussed included tolls, affordable elderly housing solutions, property values and taxes, the state’s unfunded pension liabilities, the proposed unionization of personal care attendants, the proposed elimination of the minimum staffing requirement for police officers, voting regulations and ECS funding.
Rep. Giegler was impressed by the insightful comments and suggestions that constituents offered, and was very grateful for their time and input. Anyone who was unable to attend the event but would like to offer their thoughts or ask questions can reach Rep. Giegler any time at 800-842-1423 or Janice.Giegler@housegop.ct.gov.
