Rep. Srinivasan was proud to attend the 15th Annual Connecticut Immigrant Day at the state Capitol to honor local immigrants and refugees who have overcome adversity and achieved a great deal. Rep Srinivasan was very glad and honored to have the opportunity to nominate Mr. Suresh Sharma for this award. Mr. Sharma is the founding member and the President of the Milan Association and has worked tirelessly for decades in pursuing the goals of the organization. Mr. Sharma is one of seventeen immigrants chosen statewide to be honored for their contributions to our state and community.
Rep. Srinivasan joined Governor Malloy, Lieutenant Governor Wyman, Secretary of the State Merrill and Attorney General Jepsen to congratulate and thank Mr. Sharma and the other recipients for their contributions.
