If you pick up a bottle of Fruit Punch at your local grocery store there is a good chance it came from Country Pure Foods in Ellington. The 100,000 square foot facility packages 38,000 cases of juice a day for several national brand companies.
State Representative Christopher Davis joined members of Ellington’s Economic Development Commission on a visit to the facility to meet with representatives of the company and take a tour of the grounds.
With 110 full-time employees and 11 production lines Country Pure Foods is an important part of the economy in Ellington and the region in general. Rep. Davis said he is looking forward to working closely with the company to do what he can at the state level to make sure their business remains strong and, remains in Ellington.
