This week Rep. Scribner was pleased to welcome the Immaculate High School boys’ basketball team to the House of Representatives, and congratulated them on their recent state championship win. The Mustangs were named the 2012 SNC Champions and State Class S Champions after defeating Capital Prep of Hartford, 67-53, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in March. The team, which finished their regular season with a 21-1 record, is the first team to attain the title for the school since 1976. Rep. Scribner congratulated them on the impressive achievement, and commended them on how their dedication and teamwork is a proud reflection on the City of Danbury and surrounding towns.
