Rep. Srinivasan was on hand at the McDonald’s restaurant on Main Street in Glastonbury on Saturday as it turned over its parking lot to the Glastonbury YMCA for its annual “Healthy Kids Day.” McDonald’s used the occasion to showcase its “healthier” choices menu and donated a portion of the day’s proceeds to the organization. Rep. Srinivasan attended the event to lend his support to the YMCA and help encourage folks to integrate healthier habits into their daily routines. Other local partners that supported the effort were New York Life, ChiroWorks, Anytime Fitness, Peak Performance, Massage Therapists, the Glastonbury Fire Department and the Army National Guard.
