Hwang Supports the Center for Women & Families Event

State Rep. Tony Hwang attended The Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County’s 16th Annual “Speaking of Women” Luncheon featuring David Pelzer.

CWFEFC is an advocacy organization dedicated to strengthening women and families by eliminating violence and abuse through education, intervention, advocacy and community collaboration.  For the past 117 years of personal empowerment and family services for the community, it has dedicated its mission to end domestic and sexual violence.  It’s current services teaches prevention education, trains professionals and raises organizational consciousness on the community and legislative levels in order to create social changes to this violence.  It annually serves over 5,000 victims and educations, trains and outreaches to nearly 8,500 individuals in Eastern Fairfield County.
