HARTFORD – Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, was recently announced as one of a select group of 30 state officials chosen from a region that includes New England, several Eastern states and parts of Canada, for the Council of State Governments’ Robert J. Thompson Eastern Leadership Academy Fellowship.

The Council of State Governments brings together leaders, lawmakers and public servants for future-looking discussions about what’s on the horizon for government practices. The Council is described as

NAUGATUCK – Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, provided remarks during a ceremony honoring the country’s military members at Hillside Intermediate School in Naugatuck.

Rep. Bronko was invited to the ceremony, which paid tribute to members of the armed forces who lost their lives while defending our country. The students read aloud the names of their family members who served, or who are currently serving and thanked the veterans who attended.

Bill Supported by Rep. Bronko Creating Fallen Officer Fund Signed Into Law

HARTFORD – Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, highlighted the recent signing of PA 24-27, a new law that will establish a fund for the families of police officers who have died in the line of duty.

This legislation started as a House Republican initiative, passed both chambers, and will provide an immediate – and untaxed – benefit payment of $100,000 to a surviving family member or beneficiary.
