State Rep. Tim Ackert and the American Legion Post 52 encourage you to retire your worn American flags at the Columbia Town Hall and the Coventry Town Hall from May 20th – June 13th. A flag retirement ceremony will also be held on June 14th at 6:00 P.M. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Coventry. For additional information, please see the flyer below.

On Friday, April 26th, State Rep. Tim Ackert joined students and educators from nine community colleges and St. Vincent’s College, to honor 18 students at the State Capitol during the annual All-Connecticut Academic Team awards ceremony. The All-Connecticut Academic Team recognizes the outstanding scholarly achievements and leadership accomplishments of students enrolled in Connecticut’s various community and junior colleges. State Rep. Tim Ackert has announced he will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting to discuss issues facing Connecticut’s economy and the 2013 legislative session currently underway in Hartford.
