Governor Malloy and legislative Democrats have struck a budget deal that recently passed the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee on a party-line vote. It could come to the full House of Representatives for a vote at any time.
It includes a number of tax increases on Connecticut’s already over-taxed working families, and will do serious damage to our economy, employers and job creation.
My Republican colleagues and I have advanced a budget that restores critical services WITHOUT RAISING TAXES, and you can count on us to oppose the Democrats’ massive tax hikes. You can help us by sending a clear message to Governor Malloy and Democrats in the legislature.
Please take a few minutes to call their offices and let them know you’ve had enough of their tax hikes and irresponsible overspending.
Please be respectful and courteous, but let them know that you expect them to find a way to have government live within its means.
