Tim was elected to the Legislature in November of 2008 and represents the towns of Avon and Canton. His interest in helping the citizens of his district to gain the full measure of benefit from living in the great State of Connecticut motivated him to run for higher office.
Tim has lived in the Farmington Valley all his life. The Town of Canton is his home and he was educated here, graduating as Salutatorian from Canton High School in 1969. He then attended the University of Hartford until, after meeting his wife to-be, Carolyn Wheeler from Avon, they transferred to Central Connecticut State College and graduated together in 1975. Later that year, they were married. They have two adult sons, one of whom is married...
