House Republican leader Vincent Candelora, R-North Branford, criticized the administration’s policy toward PURA but highlighted Arconti’s experience.
“I am glad Arconti has been given this opportunity,” he told CT Examiner. “But I am concerned about the way the governor continues to manage PURA, creating the appearance that it’s less autonomous than it should be. We now have four PURA members and it’s out of balance because we have three Democrats and one Republican appointment.”
