    State Representative

    Tracy Marra

State Representative Tracy Marra was first elected to serve the 141st District in 2022 and has continued to serve the people of Norwalk and Darien with distinction ever since.

For the 2025-2027 legislative session, House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora appointed Representative Marra to serve as Ranking Member to the important Energy and Technology Committee. Ranking members serve as a liaison to caucus members regarding the important issues from each individual committee.

She was also appointed to serve on the Public Health Committee and Transportation Committee. Previously, she served on the Education Committee.

As a trained pharmacist, Rep. Marra is pleased to stay on the Public Health Committee and continue her work on several important issues facing her local community and the state.

Representative Marra was born and raised in Lexington, KY, where her parents and grandparents taught her the value of taking personal responsibility, being self-reliant, and always helping her neighbors.  That deep sense of community, respect, and faith shaped her appreciation for hard work and a rigorous pursuit of academics.

Representative Marra earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University in 1999 and began her career as a community pharmacist before transitioning to a hospital setting, where she was fortunate to work with health professionals from many countries.  She and her husband, David, have three daughters who proudly call Connecticut their home. Their oldest is in her senior year at Colby College, their middle in her first-year in Engineering at The Ohio State University, and the youngest is a sophomore in high school. With a dog, two cats, and kids traveling to and from school, the Marra home is lively, and the family is very active.

Raising a family is a full-time job, but Representative Marra has always found time to serve her community. She recently served as a board member at the Darien Community Association, assisted with and fostered a local animal rescue, Pitter Patter Feline Rescue, and actively participates in the kids’ school and sports activities.

Representative Marra is optimistic about Connecticut’s future and is committed to building a state that welcomes businesses, drives economic growth, and enhances educational opportunities. She believes that fostering accountability and transparency in governance is essential to creating a brighter, more prosperous future for all Connecticut residents.
